The Discipleship Training School gives you opportunity to grow closer to God, discover your gifts and your part in God’s purposes for the world. It’s for those that long to follow Jesus and engage with the world around them in new ways and with a fresh perspective.
After a DTS you’ll have the foundation to serve as staff with YWAM or pursue further training.
A DTS runs for 5-6 months.
Come to the Homecoming Gathering to get refreshed and re-envisioned for life and ministry.
This informal, big family gathering provides a safe place for you to step out of ministry in difficult circumstances so that you can rest, reflect and connect with God and others ministering in similar situations.
The Homecoming Gathering is 2 weeks long at the Seamill Centre.
The School of Spiritual Deepening is a new type of school in Youth With A Mission.
As YWAMers we forge ahead starting new ministries and works and we see there is always more work to be done. Our passion and drive alone will not sustain us in these challenges. What will enable us to not only survive but thrive in the work God has given us to do? The aim of the SoSD is to help you return to ministry refreshed in body, soul & spirit with tools to help you dwell deep with God and live fully.
The SOSD is a 6 week course.
The School of Worship in Paisley aims to create a creative environment where trainees can go deeper into their understanding of worship and their relationship with Jesus. The course combines practical and spiritual aspects of worship to help trainees live integrated lives that reflect Jesus in every way.
If you like the idea of coming to Scotland for a year and you have a heart for worship you could consider go for the option DTS + SOW.
The SOW is a 12 week course with an optional outreach.
The essence of the School of the Word and Spirit is the inseparable relationship of the Word and the Spirit in the process of growing into maturity.
Take part to develop a better overall understanding of the message of the Bible and skills to serve a lifetime of Bible reading, memorisation, meditation and study.
The SWS is a 6 week encounter.
